Working with students in 6th-8th grade, I see a lot of students using technology either with chrome books or their cell phones. The amount of information that they obtain and use surprises me because they do not understand what they are doing. I see a lot of drama created by the internet and it scares me to know that kids are using the internet in hurtful ways. I have 2 children of my own that use our devices and see how easy it is for the to access things which they don't even know they are doing. Students need to be taught skills and safety uses for technology.
