Norms and resonsibilities - Jeremiah Starr

There are many different angles to examine the digital world and how it fits in with the traditional face to face realm. While all of the customary responsibilities of the physical world still exist in the digital space, it becomes harder and harder, especially at younger ages, to identify those responsibilities and understand the consequences for not meeting them. Because there isn't that immediate feedback from another human, I can definitely see why and how adults and children alike struggle to see those consequences and understand that actions online or digitally do have those consequences. Unfortunately, I think in many cases, these lessons have had to be learned by people on their own from their own experiences.
