Norms and responsibilities

I believe that everyone should have the write to share and post what they choose. However with that becomes responsibility. Individuals need to be responsible for what they post and what effect it may have. It is also important to protect your information and what you share, as well as who you share it with.

The responsibility piece is commonly the first casualty of students being online.  It is too easy for them to think they are completely anonymous.  They also tend to not think about the long term implications of the digital world.  Nothing they do is ever truly gone.
