Norms and responsibilities

I feel each individual should be responsible for their own behavior online. I believe there should be laws protecting personal privacy and laws against defamation. That being said, I believe in freedom. So if a person is not harming another person, he/she should be allowed to create, post, or design what they want on the internet. I believe it is the responsibility of parents/guardians to monitor and guide their children into the digital world at home in accordance to what they feel is appropriate. I also believe schools now have a responsibility to teach students how to use the internet and other digital tools in a responsible manner.
