Norms and responsibilities

What user rights do you feel should be part of the norms in this digital world?
I feel that privacy, freedom of speech, information validity, appropriate use of other peoples' creative works, and appropriate etiquette should be part of the norms in our digital world. Schools and communities need to start serious conversations about what we believe the norms of the digital world should be. When groups come together with a consensus this can bring about change.

What user responsibilities do you feel should be expressed in this digital world?
I feel that users should be held accountable for their actions online. Everyone should be aware of their rights and what responsibilities come with those rights. This can only happen by working with our students, teachers, parents, schools, districts, and communities to develop a common understanding, expectations, and consequences when a user's rights are violated in the digital world, much like we have in place for the material world.
