I think that individuals should be able to still express their opinion on public forums as we do have freedom of speech, but with that also comes a responsibility and consequences of your words and actions on the web. There are some individuals who are their own boss for their career and work, and so they can set the tone for morals and how they want to be perceived by what they say and share online. There are a lot of individuals where it really does matter what you say online even though you have freedom of speech. If you work for a company or school district, they probably have policies in place where there are consequences for actions online, even if it is your opinion - and by signing a contract for your job, you need to be aware of their social media policy and what you post online might go against that.
I think that all individuals have the right to their privacy as well with personal information being protected against scammers and everything else like that. It is easy to say that big tech companies and the ones in charge of that need to do better, but I also think it has come a long way in improvement since the start of the internet and social media.
