Norms and responsibilities

As mentioned in the overview we need knowledge of what is appropriate, safe and responsible when we access the digital world. New uses of technology seem to be introduced daily. As teachers we need to keep before our students the rights and responsibilities of using this technology and they need to be aware of the consequences of using it inappropriately.  For example things written in social media are there and cannot be taken back and can affect so many. All of us need to respect the rights and privacy of others; and be sure the info. put out there is correct and true. ( And even if true and accurate is it necessary?)
