Norms and responsibilities

As I watch our high school students constantly swiping the screens on their smartphones reading their Facebook accounts,  it makes me think of how important it is that we teach all of our students at an early age that they are leaving their digital footprint when they type or publish anything, and it will never ever go away. And the scary part is how fast news can travel and the impact this foot print can bring in a very short time.

I agree.  Students many times fail to understand the permanence of their actions on social media sites.
