Norms and responsibilities

As a teacher I feel that we are responsible for providing information to our students that will keep them safe and empower them to use technology to improve lives.

Sometimes I wonder if students even have the thought of technology improving lives - they have been so exposed at such a young age and something they have just grown up with that to them it is just part of life - something that has always been there. They don't know any different.

They also don't seem to understand that the information out there "belongs" to someone, they don't understand the responsibility of giving credit to where they find information (including pictures).
