I believe that in the digital world, each person should be able to safety post information that they want to share with the rest of the world, however, one aspect of digital citizenship that needs to be taught is the safety of others. It is the responsibility of each user to make sure that they do not post information about individuals who do not wish to be involved online, such as family members posting pictures of minors when the parents have not given consent, or minors posting or tagging each other in posts on any form of social media in which he/she does not want to be involved. This is a norm that needs to be taught to all age groups in the educational setting.
