Norms and responsibilities

I think users have a responsibility to keep in mind the safety and privacy of others before creating any post.  Even in the online world people have a right to remain private and only share what they want others to know. It is important that you don't give out extra information about a friend or colleague that they may not have wanted shared.  Nothing you post should negatively affect someone else.  This should be taught to our students starting at a young age.

I agree! I have had my picture posted on Internet sites without my permission. I do not appreciate it.
