What user rights do you feel should be part of the norms in this digital world?
A major right in the digital world should be the right to anonymity. Anonymity protects those with unpopular opinions or ideas that challenge the powerful, allowing their full voice to be heard. (Think of the Federalist Papers, which spread many of the most crucial ideas that led to the development of the American nation, that were published under a pseudonym.)
What user responsibilities do you feel should be expressed in this digital world?
A responsibility that connects to a right to anonymity is the responsibility to keep others' private information private. Often, people post information about others without their permission (such as tagging a photo with someone else's name on social media). In severe cases, this can lead to doxxing or even swatting, which can put people's lives and livelihoods at risk.
