Norms and responsibilties

Our students have the right to use and share their ideas through the means of digital media, and they have right to feel safe in a digital setting. We should be encouraging them to use internet and social media to express the thoughts, however we need to make sure that they know the elements of digital citizenship. We can show them how to be safe and smart with their intent while using social media because they may fall victim to cyber-bullying. So when it comes down to it; treat others the way you would like to be treated.
