Norms of the digital world

Anyone that enters the virtual world should expect the same rights and freedoms that are in the physical world.  With that being said people should conduct themselves in the same manner in the virtual world that they do in the physical world.  Actions in the virtual world often have unintended consequences that many students do not foresee.  Students often have to be taught how to behave in the virtual world.
