I believe that everyone should have the right to speak freely in the digital world. I also believe that everyone should have the right to privacy. So those that are posting information about their lives need to understand that in a way they are foregoing privacy because they are putting their information out there for the world to see.
I believe that digital users need to be responsible for understanding how to navigate the digital world. I worry about my students and my daughter somehow accessing information that is inappropriate. Sometimes one wrong click can take you to a website or a page that is not age-appropriate and can come with some trouble. I definitely worry about students being aware of keeping their information private.
