I explored the Iowa AEA Online portal and found Britannica School very useful. I accessed it via the Student Resources tab and searched for “Renewable Energy.” It’s great for my 6th-grade science class—easy to read and full of videos and facts. I’ll use it for group research projects to boost engagement and research skills.

Also, many of my students use Spotify during work time, so I’m thinking of creating a focus playlist to improve the study atmosphere while they explore these resources.

This is a really thoughtful and well-structured assignment that encourages both research skills and cultural awareness. I like how you guide students through credible resources and filters to discover influential women artists across different eras and cultures. The poster element allows for creativity while reinforcing critical thinking about impact and representation. In a way, it reminds me of how an indoor outdoor swimming pool blends structure with freedom—clear boundaries, yet room to explore. Projects like this help students connect history, identity, and creativity in a meaningful way. Great approach to interdisciplinary learning.

Thank you for sharing such useful insights! Just like having clear information helps people plan a pool renovation, having updated details such as the Dunkin Donuts menu with prices makes decision making much easier for customers. Whether it’s choosing the right pool setup or picking the perfect coffee and donut combo, clear pricing and options really add value. Great post.

Cyber Security is a topic, which I do not think receives as much recognition as it should. There are few resources that would bring up lively discussions in the classroom. Elementary Students, it would be important to see what the school policy for technology is for elementary students. Middle School and High School would be very much engages with smart phones, so this is a good time to talk about cyber safety. Middle School and High School students would be moving beyond watching video online or playing an online game.

One area that would be good for Elementary to Middle School to High School Students would be CyberAces - https://start.paloaltonetworks.com/cyber-aces.html. These are interactive activities to have in the classroom.

Students in the Middle School and High School might start getting into area, where they might not release the consequences of their actions. Here is once set of workbooks from Palo Alto Networks - https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/resources/guides/protecting-your-digital-life -  that might be helpful. I think pairing this content with examples of situations in the booklet’s would be helpful. For example, ‘Manipulated Media’ as this area grows AI’s presence it used in ways that might be as useful as hoped. One example would be – AI Viral Bunnies - youtube.com/watch?si=fxwg3E8WiAuG4mG9&v=NNI6iRhNWzI&feature=youtu.be.

I think all schools should really address cyber safety with students of all ages.
