I think Pinterest is a great as a visual bookmarking tool. I love that instead of having a name of the website I can quickly scroll through and see an image that I saved from the website, which usually does a better job at reminding me why I bookmarked the page. I also find it useful to have collaborative boards where multiple people can share what they find on a topic.
