A lot of this learning seems new to me, I haven't visited art concepts in many years. Things such as the color wheel and elements of art are very familiar. I have never seen words associated with lines before and the positive space vs negative space has definitely got me thinking. I have looked up many definitions and I still tend to get it wrong, I am in need of practice.
Currently I am an online PE teacher using a variety of pictures, colors, shapes and textures in my slides in order to attract attention and promote interest. Variety is important but I also think that using complementary colors and simultaneous contrast will intensify the look of my posts. I learned that analogous colors are pleasing to the eye and using textured background will give my slides feeling instead of a flat boring appearance. Visuals are always an important addition to my class in order to meet the needs of all my learners.
