Preassess

My plan is to have students show me what they know where possible.  Storytelling in the elementary classroom is also a big way for students to tell me what they know.

This reminds me of the "fish story" from this class.  Just checking to see what they understand as they are learning.

Storytelling is a great idea. I haven't used that before but I will have to try it.

Surgical steel is a high-grade form of stainless steel engineered for applications that require strength, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. Commonly used in medical instruments, body jewelry, and precision industrial components, surgical steel is valued for its durability and ability to resist rust and chemical damage. Its alloy typically contains chromium and other elements that enhance toughness and long-term performance in demanding environments.

One of the most discussed features of surgical steel is its hypoallergenic reputation. It is generally considered skin-friendly because it releases very low amounts of nickel, which reduces the likelihood of allergic reactions for most people. However, surgical steel can still contain small amounts of nickel, so individuals with strong nickel sensitivity may occasionally experience irritation.

Overall, surgical steel remains a trusted material for both medical and everyday applications due to its balance of strength, corrosion resistance, and relatively low reactivity, making it a reliable choice where durability, cleanliness, and long-term performance are essential.
