I feel that both students and adults need to be better educated about responsibilities when living in the digital world. Technology continues to change at an ever growing fast pace. With that are the tools that allow us all to interact and communicate with others. Students need to have conversations, instruction and guidance from adults with knowledge on the subject. In preparing for lessons in the classrooms on digital citizenship, I have realized how things have changed in just the past 5 years. It is difficult for me to stay ahead of the curve and it is in my field of technology integration. It's about education in the classrooms. It's about education of adults - parents and teachers in this case. I feel strongly that it should be at the forefront of what we teach when technology is involved.
