Our students and children are immersed in the digital world. They don’t know anything different. However, if they aren’t taught how to use it safely and wisely, we are setting them up for failure and possibly dangerous or harmful situations.
I think parents and teachers have the responsibility to teach and monitor their children/student usage of the internet. I think the earlier they start to learn how to use it properly and the importance of accountability, the better.
