Rights & Responsibilities

Digital citizens should have the right to access and use digital tools and resources and retain their rights under the law related to privacy and free speech. It is a user's responsibility, however, to take the necessary steps and precautions to protect their privacy. Understanding that very little is actually private in the digital world is an important idea for all users to understand.

I appreciate your comment that very little is private in a digital world. Students should realize that even what they consider private, and maybe it is private at the time, is or may become public beyond their expectations.
