What user rights do you feel should be part of the norms in this digital world? As an elementary teacher where students are in 1:1 setting using Chromebooks, kids need to know that they have the right to speak freely, being taught how sharing online thoughts can be misunderstood when there is no eye contact or body language available. Also, kids need to be taught that they have the right to use their device to facilitate their learning in topics that interest them.
What user responsibilities do you feel should be expressed in this digital world? When teaching digital learning, users have the responsibility to respect others. They have the responsibility to scrutinize the information that they read. Users must also understand the responsibility tied to their digital footprint.
