Rights and Responisibilities

We as teachers need to convey to our students the importance of responsibility when it comes to the internet; not only in posting information, but also in searching for information or even misinformation.  There is a lot of sensationalization of "news" and it is difficult for students to decipher what sites are trustworthy and what sites are just trying to make money.  Students need to be taught how to scrutinize websites to determine if they are valid sources.  If they can't then they are putting themselves at risk when it come to doing research for projects and papers.
