Rights and Responsibilites

I think that all users should have the responsibility to recognize their own digital footprint that they are leaving. That all of the thing that are done, whether it be social media sites to posting a comment on a website, are for the most part permanent and will be with them their lives. That is a scary scenario as most people who have used technology will not have their entire lives be documented digitally.

As far as rights, I think we all have the right to security. We should feel safe that the things that we are posting or buying online, are protected from theft. Whether that be something as simple as your personal information, to things as abstract as your ideas.
