I would echo the sentiments of many of the other posts. Privacy is a real issue in the digital world and should be a basic right. Many websites/platforms collect information that is 'required' and it needs to be better protected, without worry of that information being sold to other parties.
Another right and responsibility in the digital world should be the feeling of safety. We should be able to feel safe when navigating the digital world. It seems many people have no filter between their thoughts and what they say online. They say things that they would never say to someone's face. As such, we also have the responsibility to watch what we post/say when online.
As adults, we have the responsibility to monitor the ways we use the internet and various platforms. We also have the responsibility to teach the younger generations. They do not have the long-term vision that we have. What they post in their younger years can/will follow them when they apply for colleges, jobs, and beyond.
