Rights and Responsibilities- Sarah Summers

As a digital citizen all people should have the right to post/produce any information they want. People also have the rights to go anywhere and look at anything on the World Wide Web. However, with all rights comes responsibilities. All people that post on the World Wide Web have the responsibility to post accurate information that can be based on proven facts. It is also our responsibility to be ethical and only post things that are helpful and responsible. This however, is not an actual requirement which is why we are also responsible for checking the information that we gather. Making sure that things come from credible and reliable sources that are monitored by people that also adhere to these rights and responsibilities.

I don't agree. If information is knowingly false or harmful, such as child pornography and lies, rights should be restricted. That is beyond responsibility.
