Rights: Individuals should have the right to access public digital information and also have their private information remain confidential. Individuals should have freedom of speech; however, in the school setting this must be combined with a particular responsibility.
Responsibilities: Individuals in the school setting have a responsibility of not publishing anything that could be disruptive of the school environment or the learning of another student. Individuals should publish only what is appropriate and acceptable for the context within which they are publishing. Individuals have a responsibility of keeping private that information that others consider confidential.
