Technology can be an amazing tool to use in the elementary setting when it is used properly. Our students have no idea how to do that, or what is expected of them because they have never been taught the proper way to use it. In my experience, most of their knowledge of the internet comes from gaming and surfing. When it comes to credible information and resources to use for research, they are far less superior. What better place to teach them digital citizenship than in elementary!
