Rights and Responsibilities

As students all have the right to technology, they need to be safe with how they use it to protect their own privacy and the privacy of their peers.  I often see students taking fun pictures and videos of themselves with others and posting to different sites.  They don't realize the permanency of these images in the digital world.  I feel that helping young students realize the norms of privacy is an essential standard as schools move to 1:1 initiatives with technology.

I agree that pictures are a big threat to others' privacy and permissions need to be sought if other people want to post them.
