Rights and Responsibilities

Rights in the digital world rely on the basis of what is ethically and politically acceptable for specific culture engaged in the material.  For a student under the age of 18 in the United States this must be based on our present rules and regulations within our schools and laws and policies within our communities/country.  Responsibilities may be a trickier subject as the views may differ greatly within our culture/sub-cultures.  In the digital world, regardless of culture, I believe the number one responsibility of users is to be a proactive communicator.  A proactive communicator is one whom expresses themselves with respect and clarity while maintaining the security and privacy of themselves and others.
