As a parent of teenagers and a teacher, I have become aware of some of the wonderful resources of the internet, and also the dangers and availability of inappropriate material. I agree with those who believe that, because of this, learning digital citizenship should start at a very early age.
Some rights I believe are important for technology users are the right to privacy and free speech. I have had someone post pictures of my children without my permission, and refuse to take them down. I felt violated. The internet is also a giant forum for free speech, as long as this speech is not used to bully someone.
Some responsibilities of users should be respecting others' privacy, and making sure that work/business emails are kept separate from personal emails. I see this info mixing often, and wonder how long till it comes back to haunt them.
