I believe first and foremost we have the right to privacy when dealing in the digital world. I myself have chosen not to be a part of most social media because I am not sure I can be guaranteed that privacy. I have children who are at the age where they are getting involved in more social media activities and I am learning right along with them how to help maintain their privacy while also exploring the advantages of the digital world. The responsibilities need to be maintaining the privacy of others and treating others the way you would like to be treated. Some people think that just because they are behind a computer screen they can be disrespectful to others and suffer no consequences. I think people need to be held accountable for their actions online.
