Scammed by a fake site—how do I find a verified Online Cricket ID?

Hey guys, I’m really frustrated. I tried to get a Cricket ID online through a site that looked professional, but as soon as I deposited, they blocked my account. I’m looking for a platform that is actually verified and has a community backing it. Does anyone have a list of signs to look for so I don’t get cheated again?
