Share Post #1: User Rights & Responsibilities

Users have rights to express how they're feeling; they have the freedom of speech. However, with this right also comes the responsibility to be considerate of others' feelings and work. As one person wrote, once it's written and posted, it's out there for the world to see. Even if a negative post is eventually deleted, someone still could have seen it and have been offended in that time. Also, if you agree with someone’s thoughts or opinions, it’s important not to just copy what they said word for word. Give them credit for how they said it. If you’re on the same page, just say so in your own way. Users also need to express responsibility with navigating the digital world safely and not infriging on others' privacy.

You mentioned a really good point. Giving a person credit for something they created, aka: not stealing from another person. That's really important when navigating the digital world. Musicians have to do this all the time or when you are in school and learning how to do research. It's one of the first things you are taught - how to give credit to the source you found new information from rather than plagiarizing.
