Sharing the Larger Musical World with Students through Instagram

In the beginning of my classroom Instagram experience, I intend to expose my orchestra students to the larger world of classical music through images of instruments and concert halls around the world. As an International Baccalaureate teacher, this tool is invaluable for creating a window to other cultures and custom in the larger world. Beyond the family of traditional string instruments we play in class, I will encourage students through independent study to find Instagram images of instruments from other cultures.
