I no longer use social media myself but have looked at facebook profile setting and know that they will run updates. It is important to limit who is gaining access in your settings. My athletes made me aware of the location settings in ap like snap chat. They use to see where our different suburbans are on the rides home from meets but it could be just as easily used to locate people for nefarious reasons. Most kids don't think twice about making that public.
