The social media site I have are snapchat and Facebook. I explored the settings of both. My personal accounts were both secure. Privacy Check-up was a useful tool for checking my settings on Facebook. Snapchat was secure because only the people I allowed to see my posts could see them.
I fear many of our children and students use many of these social media apps and don't check privacy settings or even stop to think of who can see their posts and what information those posts are sharing with unknown people. It is very scary.
