I've dug through my Facebook settings to look for privacy settings. I've always kept my FB on lock down. I have it set so very few people can access my information. I due this for the privacy of myself/family as well as I don't feel like it is appropriate for current/former students and parents to look through my personal life. Whenever there is an update, I have a second account for a business that I run, so I log into that account and try to pull up my personal account to see if the settings are still what I'd like them to be.
It is important that you stay active in keeping the privacy of your social media accounts up to date and not allow others to creep into your life without you knowing it.
