Structure and Processes

Teacher 3
I took the tests and was really embarrassed. I thought I knew more about cells and their functions since I had just taught it. I don't believe these assessments accurately measured what I know. The questions were confusing to me because of slight changes between answers. The wording was difficult to keep straight. Obviously it wasn't 5th grade level. The other was worse. When I looked at the other's comments, I felt better.

My students would need more graphics to explain what was being asked, because that is how I would have taught it. I think it would have helped me. I am a very visual person and need a variety of different explanations.

I absolutely agree with using visuals in the classroom.  At the beginning of the school year, I have the students do a modality assessment to see how they learn the best.  This gives me an idea of what kind of learners I have in the classroom.
