Technology Users Rights and Responsibilitties

If we consider our students to be the users of technology, they have the right to have access to necessary technology to complete their assignments. They also have the right to be taught how to use required digital technology.

The responsibilities are more numerous:
     To be able to determine if digital sources of information are accurate.
     To give credit to original sources of information they use, if it isn't their own.
     To check the spelling, grammar, etc. before sending posts.
     To be aware of how their comments and answers given on social digital technology will be perceived.
     To not try to "beat the system" by getting past security that is in place.
     To not be part of cyber bullying and scams.
