If you've been spending time diving into the ruins of Speranza, you already know the deal. In ARC Raiders, progression isn't just about surviving the run; it's about what you bring back to permanently build your arsenal. Blueprints are the absolute lifeblood of your long-term success. Once you successfully extract with a blueprint and consume it at your Workshop, you unlock that crafting recipe forever. With over 70 unique blueprints scattered across the world, blindly opening every box you see is a quick recipe for frustration. You need a targeted plan, and that is exactly what this guide is for.
Blueprint Locations by Category & Type
Before you load into your next raid, you need to understand that loot distribution isn't entirely random. The container you open heavily dictates the type of
blueprint that will drop. If you are hunting for a specific upgrade, focus your efforts on the right container hierarchy:
Raider Containers (Weapon cases, raider caches, ammo bags): This is your primary target for Weapon and Gun Part blueprints.
Medical Containers (Blue drawers, medical bags): Hit these up if you are searching for Medical blueprints or the highly coveted Combat and Looting Mk. 3 Augments.
Industrial Containers (Explosive boxes, industrial crates): These are packed with Explosives and general utility blueprint types.
Security Containers (Lockers, safes): Head here for high-tier Augments and high-value Utility blueprints.

Mk. 3 Augments
For these, you will want to heavily prioritize Medical and Security Containers:
Combat Mk. 3 (Aggressive & Flanking): Found when looting across Stella Montis and around The Blue Gate area.
Looting Mk. 3 (Safekeeper & Survivor): Keep an eye on Medical and Security containers for these to drop.
Gun Parts, Attachments & Consumables
This massive pool covers all standard weapon upgrades, including every single tier and variant of Extended Mags, Shotgun Chokes, Silencers, Muzzle Brakes, Stocks, Angled Grips, and core Gun Parts (Light, Medium, Heavy, and Complex). If you are hunting for the high-end Tier II and Tier III attachments, note that they spawn with significantly better frequency during major map conditions or Night Raids.
Pro-Farming Strategies & Mechanics
Knowing where things drop is only half the battle. To actually secure these blueprints without wasting dozens of hours, you need to play smart and use the game's mechanics to your advantage.
Prioritize Night Raids & Weather Events: If you are running standard daytime matches, you are missing out. Blueprints—especially the rarest ones—have drastically boosted drop rates during Night Raids, Electromagnetic Storms, Cold Snaps, and active Hurricane conditions. When the weather gets bad, the loot gets good.
Listen Closely for Raider Caches: Raider caches are easily missed if you are just relying on your eyes. They actually emit a distinct, audible whirring or ticking sound when you are nearby. A great community trick is to switch your audio settings to "Night Mode" in the menus. This compresses the audio range and amplifies these subtle environmental cues, tracking the sound right to the hidden cache.
Understand Map Exclusivity: Do not waste your time looking for everything on a single map. Key blueprints like the Affilion, Pulse Mine, Trailblazer, Deadline, Seeker Grenade, and Gas Mine are locked tightly to the Stella Montis map. The upside? They can pop up in absolutely any container on that map, so loot every single box you pass by when you are there.
Learn and Consume Early: This is the ultimate rookie mistake. Whenever you successfully extract and get back to safety in Speranza, open your inventory immediately, right-click your new blueprint, and select "Learn And Consume". If you keep a blueprint in your stash without consuming it, you can still find duplicates out in the world. Extracting with a duplicate blueprint is a massive waste, as it simply converts into 5,000 coins instead of unlocking a new recipe.
