In managing class schedules, student project hours, or when grading assignments, it’s common to add up times like 1 hour 45 minutes, 2 hours 30 minutes etc. I often found myself spending extra time converting these, and sometimes errors creep in.
Recently I discovered
a decimal-time calculator that turns standard time formats into decimal numbers (for example, 2:30 → 2.5). It’s simple, no login required, and works right in the browser.
