We have been using outlook for our email in the district but many staff members have been using google in different capacities in their work. Google docs has been the primary thing staff have used for different committees and joint tasks. I have learned many different ways to become more efficient with notifications and tasks through gmail. I really see a strong benefit in the ability to archive and label different emails as they come in. Having a cluttered email inbox is frustrating and while I know there are different ways to handle it in different email formats, I have definitely liked the structure of gmail. I believe I will be able to more easily access important emails while filtering out the ones which are either irrelevant or lower priority emails.
