I am currently a substitute teacher and basketball coach in the district I work at, so I primarily use Twitter as a means to find basketball information that will improve my team. For season information and scores, I follow @IGHSAU and @ighsauscores. The primary follows I get basketball ideas from are @tonywmiller, @CoachHackGO, and @John_Leonzo. Some follows I have in the local sports media are @jtlinder and @rmmurken.
I do not typically tweet a lot, but I definitely visit Twitter frequently and am able to see a lot of ideas for basketball drills and strategy that I may not have thought about myself. And once I start looking for a specific thing, Twitter does a good job of steering me towards other follows who tweet about similar topics.
