Twitter-Jamie Jones

Jamie Jones
I have not used Twitter as much as other social media platforms.  We learned about it during one of our professional development days and everyone signed up so we could start exploring it since the school uses it as a communication tool.  But I really did not continue using it from there.  After getting back on and looking through it was fun seeing all of the art sites, artists, and resources I could follow.  There are so many teachers that I could connect with as well.  Just recently my high school aged son signed up for Twitter to follow several college coaches at their request so that way he can stay updated on their camps and newsletters.

I started following @Blick_Art to see not only the deals they offer on art supplies but lessons, and featured artists.  Another one that is a really good resource is @NAEA it has dates for the National Art Convention, speakers, and deadlines.  And an art teacher I enjoyed finding was @artyteacher, she has wonderful lesson plans and resources to share!

On a side note I love podcasts and found my favorite on Twittter!  @murderwmhusband.
