Post for Twitter
1-11-22
As a professor in the Department of Applied Science, Technology, and Education and the co-advisor of the new chapter of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) at Utah State University, I believe it is important to follow the national chapter (@NationalMANRRS) to stay up to date on events, scholarships, professional development for the undergraduates and graduates that make-up the USU MANRRS Chapter. This link may also be useful for educators in the 9-12 classroom because MANRRS also has high school chapters in which the college students mentor the high school students.
The other Twitter user that I began to Follow was the Utah State University Twitter account (@USUAggies). While I have worked at this institution since the Fall 2019 term, I have not been an active Twitter user in my current position. It is my hope that by following this account, I hear about opportunities for faculty and students that I might miss out on through other modes of media.
