I have used Twitter personally but never for educational purposes. As a substitute teacher, I don't see many opportunities for me to use Twitter professionally. I also took the Google Apps course and am setting up a web page for myself to get the word out about my availability as a motivational speaker so I guess I could use Twitter with that to announce where I would be sharing my story and to try to get the word out.
