Ultrasonic atomization

Has anyone tested ultrasonic metal atomization solutions in a laboratory setting?

I haven't tested it myself, but I've read a lot about Amazemet's solutions. Their metal atomizer is a platform designed specifically for metal powder research and prototyping. The system works with a variety of alloys and doesn't require large amounts of raw material. The manufacturer's website offers a wealth of technical information and application descriptions. This may be a good option for further investigation.
