Use of Gmail in the classroom

It is said that old principals never die, they just lose their faculties and that old teachers never die they just lose their class.  I am an old(er) teacher and at the moment have lost my class.  I am taking this course in order to recertify and begin substitute teaching again.  (Enough explanation)

Creating a label within for students, parents and students/parents would enable me to easily  send out informational emails to these three groups, making written communication much more efficient.
